 Our new and improved site is finally here! HotelFido.com has come out of hibernation. This is just the first step in updating our site. We will continue to make improvements and add new features. Please continue to check back for these features. Pet Massage is now available! Pet massage for my pet, are you serious? Absolutely! Just like humans, animals experience aches, pains and emotions. There are many benefits to this hands-on ‘healing’ approach which includes enhancing your pet’s quality of life by stimulating and increasing circulation, restoring flexibility, comforting sore muscles, and relieving stress caused by physical or behavioral issues. Pet Massage is not a replacement for proper veterinary care. Rather, it should be used to complement the special care you already give to your animal. As Dr. Michael W. Fox states in his book, Healing Touch, “you could almost call it [massage and touch] an essential of health care, like grooming, feeding and exercise.” Sesssions typically last between 20-30 minutes, and begin with an overall assessment of the animal, following by body work, and ends with a re-evaluation.
